Videography & Photography Proposal 2026
Prepared by:
1 September 2026
The Why
In 2025 The Great Aussie Bush Camp grew from three camps to seven, taking on Camp Wombaroo in the Southern Highlands and three former PGL Adventure Camps across Victoria and Queensland. The imagery that came with those sites can't carry the GABC name: it features former staff, and children whose images can't be used. At the same time, the 2024 brand refresh and new staff uniforms mean the existing brand videos no longer look like the GABC of today.
This project rebuilds the content library from the ground up: current, on-brand photography and video across five camps in three states, a set of finished videos for the website, digital advertising and social channels, fresh staff interviews, and a footage library the marketing team can keep drawing on without needing to reshoot.
Audience, Purpose & Tone
Who It's For
- Teachers and school decision makers choosing a camp provider they can trust.
- The parents and students behind them.
- Prospective staff and partners who want to see what GABC is like on the ground.
What It Needs To Do
- Show safe, high-energy programs and the kind of experiences students talk about for years.
- Show that camps are built around each school's own programs, whether anti-bullying, leadership or wellbeing, through activities that take students outside their comfort zone.
- Show that students are always given the option, never pushed, with support if they choose to try something new.
- Work across the website, digital advertising and social media, and look unmistakably GABC across all seven sites.
Creative Tone
- Adventure with purpose.
- Real students, real activities, real staff. Energetic and authentic rather than staged.
- Action cameras, drone, ground cameras and stills each have a job, and together they are there to capture the experience on site: the nerves, the excitement, and the moment a student decides to give it a go.
How We'll Capture It
- The brief asks for both configurations, and both are quoted below.
- Two operators, both across video and stills: one leads primary video and interviews, the other leads photography and drone, and the roles flex with the day.
- Ground camera and drone can cover the same activity at the same time, and when an activity calls for more video there are more hands for it. Photography happens throughout either way.
- A single operator can certainly cover every deliverable. The difference is depth: one camera moving between video, stills and drone builds a narrower library than two working side by side.
A Consistent Look Across Every Camp
- Same two operators at every site is the aim.
- If availability ever forces a change, operators come from the same small pool, on the same camera system, to the same plan.
- Every frame, stills and video, is graded and edited in-house, so the library reads as one body of work.
Planning With Your Team
- GABC supplies the creative brief, scripts, interview questions and daily rundowns.
- We work through them with the Marketing Manager ahead of each block so every requirement is covered before we travel.
- On the day we are ready from the first activity, with the Marketing Manager alongside to keep the schedule moving.
Safety and Compliance
- Every crew member will hold a current Working with Children Check for each state we shoot in, in place before the first shoot day there.
- Drone flights run under CASA requirements with a risk assessment for each site, kept well clear of students and staff.
- We work within whatever site rules GABC's operations team sets, and use the safety gear and staff support outlined in the brief for water and ropes activities.
The Shoot: Five Camps, Eight Days
- QLDKindilan2 days
- VICCamp Rumbug2 days
- VICCampaspe Downs2 days
- NSWCamp Wombaroo1 day
- NSWTea Gardens1 day
At every camp: students across activities, accommodation, facilities and surrounds, plus staff interviews with supporting b-roll. Tea Gardens leads with interviews, with activities as time permits.
Three blocks: Queensland (2 days), Victoria (4 days as one trip, Camp Rumbug then Campaspe Downs with a travel day between) and New South Wales (two single days). Crew flies in the evening before each interstate block so the full 9-hour day goes to capturing content. The Marketing Manager is on site throughout.

The same eight deliverables under both production options.
Every video is delivered as a fully edited and graded 16:9 master with licensed music, built from the scripts and interview questions GABC supplies.

Kindilan, Camp Rumbug, Campaspe Downs, Wombaroo and Tea Gardens cut from the shoot days at $900 + GST each.
Lake Mac and Kincumber cut from GABC's existing footage at $1,000 + GST each, reflecting the time to familiarise ourselves with footage we weren't on set for.
Graded Selects Library
In addition to the raw footage handover, a curated library of the best clips from every shoot day.
Colour graded and organised by camp and activity, ready to drop straight into social posts and future edits.
Resized Versions
Any finished video reframed for another placement: 9:16 for Stories and Reels, 4:5 for feed, 1:1 for square, or whatever the channel needs.
